Fees and money on the fomo app
Everything that touches your balance, including the parts that are not fees.
The headline number is about 0.45% per spot trade with gas included, and it is the least interesting cost on this page. Slippage on a thin memecoin pool routinely costs more than the fee, a token’s own transfer tax can cost more than both, and the money you cannot get out quickly is a cost that never appears on any fee line. These pages separate the charges fomo takes from the ones it does not, because conflating them is how people end up blaming the wrong thing for a loss.

The four things that cost you money
The fee is about 0.45% per spot trade with gas included, and 0.05% plus the venue’s own protocol fee on perps. It is the only one of the four that fomo charges, and usually the smallest.
Slippage and price impact are the gap between the price you saw and the price you got. On a thin memecoin pool they can run to several percent, and on a small-cap token they will normally cost you more than the fee did. Neither is a charge from fomo and neither shows on the fee line.
Token tax is the token’s own contract taking a cut of every buy and sell, set by whoever created it. It applies whichever app you trade from, it can be several percent each way, and it now shows in the quote, which it did not before October 2026.
Time is the fourth and the one nobody counts. A bank withdrawal takes one to five business days. A position you cannot exit for a week is a position whose price you do not control, and that has cost people more than every fee on this page put together.
What is not a cost
There is no subscription, no monthly fee, and no charge to hold a coin or to keep the app installed. Funding by Apple Pay adds nothing on top. Gas is inside the spot fee rather than billed separately, which is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly.
Where a page here cannot verify a figure, it says so rather than printing a number. Vendor pricing changes without announcement, and a confidently stated fee that is six months stale is worse than an honest gap.
What this section cannot tell you
This is high-risk speculation, not investing, and not financial advice. Most people who trade memecoins lose money. No page here will tell you what you might make, because anyone who does is guessing or selling you something.
