Is the fomo app available in the UK, Canada and more?
Disclosure: this page contains a referral link. If you sign up through it, this site may earn a share of the fees you pay on fomo. It does not change what we write or what you pay.
fomo does not publish a list of supported countries. The one restriction it does state in writing is that perpetual futures are not available to U.S. Persons. For everything else, including whether you can use the fomo app in the UK, Canada or South Africa, the practical test is simple: open the App Store or Google Play in your region and search for “fomo: never miss out” by FOMO Labs. If it is there, you can install it. Whether you can fund it depends on your bank and on which funding methods fomo offers where you are.
This page explains what fomo actually says, walks through the three countries people search for most, and covers which workarounds are legitimate and which are not.
What fomo says about availability
Very little, which is why this page exists. fomo.family describes signup as taking under 30 seconds with no KYC required, lists Apple Pay, debit card, ACH bank transfer and crypto transfer as funding methods, and says bank withdrawals arrive within 3 business days. None of those pages give a country list. The only geographic rule in fomo’s public materials is in the perpetuals announcement: perps are not for U.S. Persons.
So for spot trading, the app store listing is the source of truth. Country availability is on our list of things to verify against the live app, and until then we will not claim a country is or is not supported.
| Region | Spot trading | Perps | How to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | Listed on the US App Store and Google Play | Not available to U.S. Persons (fomo’s rule) | Install and check funding |
| United Kingdom | Not stated by fomo | Not stated by fomo | Search the UK App Store or Google Play |
| Canada | Not stated by fomo | Not stated by fomo | Search the Canadian App Store or Google Play |
| South Africa | Not stated by fomo | Not stated by fomo | Search the South African App Store or Google Play |
| Everywhere else | Not stated by fomo | Not stated by fomo | Search your regional store |
fomo app in the UK
Nothing in fomo’s public materials excludes the UK, and nothing confirms it either. Search the UK App Store for “fomo: never miss out” (id6741115427) or Google Play for the package family.fomo.app, and check the publisher is FOMO Labs.
On funding: ACH is the US bank transfer network, so that option is not relevant in the UK. Apple Pay works in the UK generally, but whether fomo’s Apple Pay onramp accepts a UK card is something only the app will tell you. Crypto transfer from another wallet works regardless of country as long as the app itself lets you sign up. Our fomo app deposit guide lists what fomo publishes about each method.
fomo trading app in Canada
Same situation. fomo has not said anything Canada-specific. Check the Canadian App Store or Google Play. Expect to fund with Apple Pay, a debit card or a crypto transfer rather than ACH. If the app installs but a card deposit fails, fomo’s own FAQ notes that banks sometimes block debit card crypto purchases, so a blocked card is not necessarily a country restriction.
fomo app in South Africa
“fomo app sa” and “fomo app south africa” searches get the same honest answer: fomo has published nothing about South Africa. Search the South African App Store or Google Play. Apple Pay availability in South Africa depends on your bank supporting it. Crypto transfer in from an exchange or wallet you already use is the funding method most likely to work if the app is available at all.
fomo app in the United States: spot yes, perps no
fomo’s funding announcements lean on US data points: Apple Pay funding for first-time crypto buyers is a headline stat in the Series B announcement (68,000+ first-time buyers, $25M), and ACH bank transfer is a US system. Spot trading is available there.
Perps are the exception. fomo’s announcement states that perpetual futures are not available to U.S. Persons. That covers the crypto perps, the US equity perps (NVDA, GOOGL and the rest), the SpaceX pre-IPO market, the indices and the commodities. If you are a U.S. Person and want those markets, fomo is not the venue, and getting around the block is against fomo’s rules.

How to check availability yourself
- Open the App Store or Google Play on a device set to your country.
- Search “fomo never miss out”. The publisher should be FOMO Labs. Ignore anything else with fomo in the name, including the unrelated Shopify Fomo app.
- If it is listed, install it and sign up with an email code or Apple ID. No KYC is needed at this stage.
- Try a small deposit with the method you plan to use. A blocked card is a bank issue; a missing funding option is more likely a regional one.
- If the app is not listed at all, try the web app at fomo.family, which launched in April 2026 with the same account and balance as mobile. Whether web signup is open in your country is not documented, so treat this as a check, not a promise.
If you get through step four, the how to use the fomo app guide picks up from there.
Workarounds: what is legitimate and what is not
Legitimate:
- Using the web app at fomo.family if the mobile listing is not in your store. Same company, same account.
- Funding by crypto transfer from a wallet or exchange you already use, if your bank or card will not cooperate.
- Waiting. fomo has added chains, platforms and markets every few months since 2025; check the store again in a month or two.
Not recommended:
- Switching your App Store region or using a VPN to install an app that is not offered where you live. This can breach the app’s terms and the store’s terms, and in practice the funding side falls apart when your card, bank and store region do not match. fomo also says first-time withdrawals may need extra verification, which is exactly where a mismatched setup gets stuck.
- Installing from an APK mirror site. Use Google Play only. See fomo app download.
- Anything that helps a U.S. Person trade perps. That is fomo’s stated restriction, not a store quirk.
The risk is the same everywhere
Wherever you are, fomo is a memecoin venue. Memecoin trading is high-risk speculation, not investing, and most people who do it lose money. Nothing here is financial advice. If you have confirmed the app works in your country and still want to try it, read the fomo app review first so you know what it costs.
Questions people ask
Is the fomo app available in the UK?
fomo does not publish a country list, so check the UK App Store or Google Play for 'fomo: never miss out' by FOMO Labs. If it is listed and your funding method works, you can use it. Nothing in fomo's public materials excludes the UK.
Can I use the fomo trading app in Canada?
Same answer: search the Canadian App Store or Google Play. fomo has not published a Canada-specific restriction. ACH bank transfer is a US system, so expect to fund with Apple Pay, a card or crypto.
Does the fomo app work in South Africa?
Check the South African App Store or Google Play listing. fomo has not published anything about South Africa either way. Apple Pay availability there depends on your bank.
Can Americans use the fomo app?
The app is listed in the US and Apple Pay funding is part of fomo's US pitch. Perpetual futures, though, are explicitly not available to U.S. Persons per fomo's own announcement.
Can I use a VPN to get fomo in my country?
We do not recommend it. Using a VPN or a foreign store account to get around a regional block can breach the app's terms, and funding and withdrawals tend to fail when your bank, card and store region do not match.
