About this site
fomoappreview is an independent guide to the fomo crypto trading app. It is not run by FOMO Labs, it is not endorsed by them, and nobody there has read a word of it before you did.
Who writes it
My name is Andrew Budai. I have been trading and investing in crypto since 2017, mostly around DeFi and picking through the long tail of tokens. That is the background I bring to this site. You can find me on X, @BearOfAltStreet.
Every guide here is written and maintained by me. There is no content team and no outsourced writing.
How the guides are written
These are research guides, not hands-on reviews, and the difference matters. Everything here comes from what fomo publishes about itself, from funding coverage in outlets like The Block, Fortune and Decrypt, and from the app store listings. Each page lists its sources at the bottom.
The rules I hold myself to:
- No invented experience. You will never read "I tested the withdrawal flow" on this site, because I have not published session notes to back it up. Where the app's behaviour is undocumented, the page says so and tells you to check the screen in front of you.
- No invented users. No made-up reviews, no imaginary Reddit quotes, no profit screenshots, no "traders are saying" without a link.
- Hedged where the facts are thin. Claims that come from fomo rather than from an independent source are written as "fomo says". Things reported by third parties are labelled as reported.
- Risk stated plainly. Memecoin trading is high-risk speculation, most people who do it lose money, and nothing on this site is financial advice. Pages that could lead you to spend money say that on the page, not just in the footer.
- Corrections over quiet edits. If something here is wrong, tell me and I will fix it and change the updated date on the page.
How the site makes money
Through fomo's referral programme. The FOMO button, the sign-up links and the referral code cryptofree open fomo.family with our link, and if you sign up through it this site may earn a share of the fees you pay. It does not change what you pay, and it does not change what gets written: the comparison pages name apps that pay us nothing, and say where they beat fomo.
There are no ads, no sponsored posts, no paid placements and no email list. Nobody can buy a mention here. Pages that carry a referral link say so above the link.
Languages
The guides exist in 21 languages. The English versions are written first and are the ones I maintain; the translations are produced with AI assistance and follow the same facts and the same rules. If you spot a translation that reads badly or says something the English version does not, please tell me.
