fomo shows a leaderboard of its most profitable traders, and the obvious question is who is actually on it. Below are the top 100 by all-time profit as the app displayed them on 11 Oct 2026, with their handles and the team tags fomo shows next to some names. The trader at the top was up $6,274,958, and the last name with a figure was still up $479,932.

What these numbers are, and what they are not

This is a snapshot of one screen on one day. Andrew Budai, from his own fomo account captured it from a personal fomo account, and nothing here is audited: the figures are what the app displayed, not verified results, and they move every day. A leaderboard also only shows the people who won. The traders who lost the same amounts are not on any list, which is why a ranking like this tells you who had the best run so far and nothing at all about who will have the next one.

One entry to treat with suspicion: rank 34 is an account called "Test Account" (@justtesting). It looks like an internal or test account rather than a trader, and it is listed here only because it was on the board.

Profit shown is not the same as skill, and copying a trader is not the same as getting their results. You see a position after they are in it, you exit on your own nerve rather than theirs, and you carry the fees on both sides. Handles link to X. 34 of the 100 carry a clan tag in the app. Follower counts are the approximate figures fomo showed, and are blank where the app showed none. One row, rank 100, was on the board but its profit was cut off when the screen was captured, so it is listed without a number rather than with a guess.

How to read the list without getting hurt

Look at the follower counts next to the profit. Some of the biggest numbers on this board belong to accounts almost nobody follows, and some heavily followed accounts sit much further down. The two things are not related, and the ones with an audience have a reason to want you in a trade they are already in.

The clan tags are worth noticing too. Several names share a tag, which means some of this profit is not independent: a group that moves together can show up several times on one board. Treat a cluster of the same tag as one opinion, not five. Twenty-two different tags appear across these 100 names, and what fomo clans are breaks down which ones repeat.

If you want to follow someone, the useful thing is their reasoning, not their balance. fomo lets traders post a short thesis on a coin, and a trader who explains why they are in something gives you a way to tell when they are wrong. A number on its own never does.

The part the leaderboard never shows
